This was a little different from previous Il Borro weddings that I had photographed as we weren’t using the main villa or the Italian garden for the day. The wedding was based mostly around the village itself. The village is very scenic and the architecture and buildings are all perfectly Tuscan.
I tried to incorporate as much of the surroundings in the photos as I could as I knew it was going to rain in the afternoon and seeing as it was October the daylight would fade quite early. I love photographing details and had fun with the beautiful Ferragamo shoes and perfume as well as all the other gorgeous accessories that the bride brought with her.
The ceremony in the chapel was a joyous occasion and everyone enjoyed the beautiful music. After the ceremony we went for a few photos before it was too dark and then we joined the guests in the Osteria for the rest of the evenings entertainment.
After dinner they launched lanterns into the sky that was partially starry even though it spotted with a few drops of rain. The lanterns flew off into the night and were a beautiful end to a very happy day.
Here are couple of my favorite photos from this Il Borro wedding.
