How I work
A wedding day already has its own pace. There are people to see, speeches to hear and a celebration you have spent a long time bringing together.
My job is to make the photographs you care about without turning the day into a photo shoot.
I give clear direction when it helps, then step back so you can be with your guests and the day can carry on.
23+ years photographing weddings and close to 1,000 weddings documented across Italy and internationally.
Couple portraits in 25 minutes
On the wedding day, couple portraits take 25 minutes. We find good light, choose a quiet place and work quickly through a varied set of photographs, without making the session feel rushed.
You will have the portraits you want: the two of you together, close-up photographs, full-length images and the smaller moments in between. Then you go back to your guests.
If you want a longer portrait session, we arrange it before the ceremony, the day before or the day after. That gives us more time without taking it from the celebration.
Natural photographs, without the performance
During the ceremony and reception, I pay attention to the people around you and the moments that would happen whether I was there or not.
I work quietly, move when I need to and avoid asking people to repeat a moment for the camera.
When direction is useful, I give it clearly and quickly. When it is not, I leave the moment alone.
The day never feels arranged around the camera.
I don't run your timeline. I work inside it.
Before the wedding, we agree what matters to you, when photographs make sense and how they fit around the day. I coordinate the plan with you and your planner, including the moments that need time, the family photographs you want and where portraits will work best.
On the day, I keep group photographs organised and move through them efficiently. If weather, light or timing changes, I adjust the photography plan around the day rather than stopping the day for photography.

If you are planning from the US or the UK, we begin with a video call and agree the details together before the wedding day.

Questions couples ask
How do we enjoy the day and still get the photographs?
Couple portraits take 25 minutes on the wedding day. We step away briefly, make the photographs and get you back to your guests. For the rest of the day, I give direction when it helps, then step back.
What is included in the photography?
Your quote is based on your plans, venue and guest numbers. Full wedding-day photography, 600–800 carefully edited photographs, aerial photographs where the venue, weather and local rules allow, and gallery delivery within 30 days are typical inclusions.
Do you photograph the welcome dinner and other events?
Yes. Many weddings in Italy include a welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, pool party, pizza evening or day-after gathering. I can photograph any of these too, depending on what you are planning.
Will you be the photographer at our wedding?
Yes. I photograph every wedding I accept myself.
Do you work with a second photographer?
For larger weddings, separate preparation locations or days with a lot happening at once, I can bring a second photographer. It means we can cover more of the day while staying out of the way.
When do we receive the photographs?
Your full gallery arrives within 30 days. Most couples receive their photographs within two to three weeks.
