I enjoy photographing wedding accessories and details. Sometimes I do commercial photography and the geek in me loves the technical side of photographing an object. Still-life photography may bore many a photographer but I like the creative challenge.
It is so easy at a wedding to just take a pair of shoes and put them on the floor, or prop a bouquet on a chair. But for me, that’s obvious and seems a little uninvolved, too pedestrian.

During your wedding, there is a lot to photograph and not a great deal of time. However, I will try to create something a little more meaningful with your wedding details pictures. You will no doubt put a lot of effort into choosing your details and accessories.
Also, they will most likely have cost a pretty penny. In respect of this, I want to make them look amazing. After all, the details are little statements about you. They are little gems of insight into your characters and personalities. They are a part of the wedding design and style and therefore say something about who you are as people.

Jules made us feel so comfortable during the whole process. Nothing to posed or cheesy, very natural and candid shots. Jules is not only a world class photographer but he is a born wedding / event planner with an innate sense of what works and doesn’t work in any particular situation. He of all service providers had the best input in terms of order of events, location, timing, duration, etc. He was very easy to work with and was forceful yet witty enough to keep everyone (relatively) relaxed and focused.
The quality of his photos are excellent and were able to capture different moments over the course of the day and a half that we worked with Jules. He took the time to tour the grounds for the event to find the right spots for the different occasions. The sheer volume of photos is impressive and he did not pressure us to limit the number of photos, etc. like some photographers do. The turnaround time on the photos – fully finished – was also very impressive and far ahead of the videographer.

His talents are truly remarkable and diverse. Candid shots captured the energy of the moment, and portraits evoke the high emotions of the day. In terms of style, we appreciated how genuine the lighting, color, and overall aesthetic was true to the moment.
Day-of, Jules is calm, cool, but commanding when needed, as you can imagine. With tons of guests that need to be coordinated for various shots, Jules was well prepared and expeditious so that we as the couple could also enjoy the moments.

It was an intimate ceremony so just myself, my groom, and some family members – I did not have bridesmaids or anyone to help with other tasks. Jules was truly a Jack of all trades on this day – not only giving us great customer service by taking AMAZING photos, but also moving around clothes, furniture, accessories, giving us bug spray, and communicating with the hotel staff to ensure that our day (and photos!) went as smoothly as possible. Jules was professional, punctual, and thoughtful the entire day & evening that he was with us.
After about 15 minutes of taking photos in the extreme heat & humidity, it would have been easy to give up – but Jules was there to take photographs, so he hyped us up, gave us energy, and made us feel like we could really take beautiful photos even though we were hot, fatigued, and ready for cold beverages.
We took photos at hidden gem locations that only the eye of a legendary photographer like Jules could find. Fast forward to less than 48 hours later, Jules had already selected, edited, and sent me all the photos in an easy-to-access format. Now, the best part: The photos. They were utterly stunning and perfect.
I couldn’t imagine having any more gorgeous photos from our special day that captured our feelings, the atmosphere, and the beautiful location. We were so lucky to have found Jules and had him patiently guide us through the photography process on our special day in beautiful Italy.
