Jules is not only a world class photographer but he is a born wedding / event planner with an innate sense of what works and doesn’t work in any particular situation. He of all service providers had the best input in terms of order of events, location, timing, duration, etc. He was very easy to work with and was forceful yet witty enough to keep everyone (relatively) relaxed and focused.

The quality of his photos are excellent and were able to capture different moments over the course of the day and a half that we worked with Jules. He took the time to tour the grounds for the event to find the right spots for the different occasions. The sheer volume of photos is impressive and he did not pressure us to limit the number of photos, etc. like some photographers do. The turnaround time on the photos – fully finished – was also very impressive and far ahead of the videographer.

Jules was everything we wanted in a photographer for our elopement in Tuscany. From the initial Zoom meeting to the way he handled the vendors when we experienced rain leading up to our ceremony was nothing short of professional and first class. (It doesn’t hurt that he’s also a fun person to be around…super laid back and great at his profession).

The purpose of the elopement was to eliminate the stress of a large wedding. In addition to meeting up the day before and reviewing our photo locations, he spent nearly the full day with us on our special day, and provided more than 1,000 shots for us.

We decided not to have a first look before the ceremony, and Jules knew just where to go to take advantage of the perfect light before sunset. It’s amazing how many photos we were able to capture in such a short amount of time after the ceremony. We are so thankful for Jules, and providing us pictures that we will have for a lifetime!!

From the start of our conversations through delivery of a vast library of spectacular photos documenting our special weekend in Tuscany, we knew Jules was the premier choice as our wedding photographer.

His talents are truly remarkable and diverse. Candid shots captured the energy of the moment, and portraits evoke the high emotions of the day. In terms of style, we appreciated how genuine the lighting, color, and overall aesthetic was true to the moment.

Day-of, Jules is calm, cool, but commanding when needed, as you can imagine. With tons of guests that need to be coordinated for various shots, Jules was well prepared and expeditious so that we as the couple could also enjoy the moments.

Finally, the comments from our guests were equally positive and enthusiastic. If couples or groups were taking photos in key locations of the villa, he’d happily offer to snap some on his camera as well.

Finding Jules might have been best thing that ever happened to us. My fiancé and I wanted to get married in Italy, and we decided to go for it about 8 days in advance.

We found Jules website and were blown away by the quality of his photographs, and we instantly knew he was who we wanted to work with to capture all the special moments on our wedding day. Jules and I emailed back and forth a few times, and he was always quick to respond, and was helpful and honest about everything I needed to know when planning a wedding in a place I had never been to before.

He understood that I was putting a lot of faith in him to guide me through the planning process, and he took that responsibility seriously. I liked him right away because I could feel how important it was to him, that we have the best day of our lives. He really wanted that for us. Jules has amazing contacts all over Italy, so after a few days of getting the basics in place, he brought in Simona (from Happy Brides) to help plan the rest of the details, and together we formed a wedding team that truly changed our lives.

All the way through the planning process I felt cared for and important. This was not just another wedding in a busy schedule for him, but it was an opportunity to help us live out our dream.

I am not someone who loves posing for pictures, and I am not overly comfortable being photographed but Jules made it a really fun experience for me. He was funny, and relaxed, and in control of the situation but always in a way that made me smile and feel like I was able to enjoy the attention. I felt like a celebrity for the day.

I can only speak for myself as the groom, but Jules took the part of the day I was least looking forward to, and made it a fun and memorable experience that I now cherish.

Earlier this week we got out pictures back, and once again we were blown away! After the wedding ceremony we were in a race against time to get as many good shots in good locations as we could before the sun went down. It was so much fun running around and getting in place, and having a special moment just in time to turn and run around somewhere else to do it again.

Again, Jules with his incredible eye for lighting was in control and put us in beautiful spots, and in our pictures I/we are laughing in half of them because it was so comfortable and so much fun. Almost every night this week wife and I have spent hours looking through all of Jules’s work, and the more I look at them, the more I appreciate him.

He is a special photographer, in a special country, and he captured our love and our day with such an amazing eye, I can’t thank him enough. We enjoyed this experience enough where we are already planning on going back to Italy in a few months and plan to call Jules just to hang out socially! We signed up for a wedding photographer and accidentally made a friend.

The actual elopement shoot experience was unexpectedly as equally cherished as the photos we have. My wife and I eloped to Italy from the United States in September of 2023.

As we were looking for a wedding planner and photographer, the moment we communicated with Jules we immediately knew he was the one we wanted to guide us. From the start he was very thorough, gave us exact options of what we were looking for and made every decision we had to make so easy.

Not only was he so helpful with planning, his photography skills are amazing. He went above and beyond with making every photo perfect. We had a vision and Jules exceeded with every detail.

Our day was more beautiful then I could ever of imagined and our photos were breathtaking, all thanks to Jules.

Even during a global pandemic, my wedding elopement, organised by Jules and his wife Sabrina, was more magical than I could ever have imagined. When it was safe to proceed with weddings again, Jules and Sabrina sprang into action and organised everything quickly but the entire process was completely stress free for me.

From the accommodation recommendations, to the Catholic wedding ceremony, to the flowers, to the most magical dinner setting that evening, the entire day from start to finish was beyond our wildest dreams. Their passion for what they do was so evident and I count myself very fortunate that my wedding was organised by Jules and Sabrina.

However the most important element for me was my wedding photos as I wanted to ensure my family and friends who were not there could relive our day with us. Planning a destination wedding is extremely stressful and you’re basically praying and crossing your fingers that you pick the right vendors. To put this simply: Jules was the best vendor that we selected. We can confidently recommend him to any of our family, friends, and anyone having their wedding in Italy because we know how hard-working he is and his amazing attention to detail.

On our wedding day, it was raining and thundering a couple hours before the ceremony. Jules arrived on time and came to greet us. Instead of just waiting around for the rain to stop, he left our room to scout out the property and to assess the rain situation. We didn’t know this but he was also taking drone shots as the rain was dying down. Not a moment was wasted, he put his 100% effort into getting as many shots as he could for us. We really felt that we lucked out booking with Jules. He is organized, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented.

On top of everything, Jules captured the most beautiful photos of our wedding. He put us at ease and made us feel natural as we took photos around the property. My wife and I were privileged enough to book Jules as our wedding photographer. Planning a wedding can be daunting escpecially when you initially start the process, however these concerns were alleviated after contacting Jules.

His communication is prompt, professional, and he does his best to go above and beyond. We were very grateful for his offer to help find us a wedding coordinator, and get in touch with a makeup artist for our wedding both of whom we contracted with. Throughout the time leading to the wedding Jules kept in contact and was reachable regardless of his hectic schedule.

The photography process on the day of the wedding was very smooth as well. Jules showed up to the venue early, was very professional and attained AMAZING shots that we were hoping he would be able to achieve.

Having been to our wedding location before for previous weddings, Jules knew the different areas to go and various poses for impeccable photos.

As someone who is not a professional model having someone take photos of me was odd at first, however Jules made us feel at ease throughout the process through his casual but firm demeanor and by providing exact direction.

After the wedding, Jules provided the photos to us within weeks, and had our wedding album designed shortly after. I would caution anyone who hires Jules not to skip on the photo album, it is a very elegant piece that you would be hard pressed to have duplicated elsewhere.

He also provided us with links to download high quality images of the photos he took for us to store electronically. I create a google drive to store them in the cloud as well as a hard backup on a flash drive.

We used some of these downloaded images to have printed on aluminum for our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Jules to anyone getting married.

The product he produces is well worth the money spent a thousand times over and is something my wife and I will treasure for the rest of our lives.

What an incredible experience it was working with Jules! I feel very lucky to find Jules as our 20th anniversary celebration photographer. Before the photo shooting day, we had many email communications and he was willing to reschedule if it was raining on the photo shooting day.( but thank God, the weather was good!)

We spent one hour in Pienza and one hour in Tuscany countryside. In order to capture the best light and sunset( it could disappear under the clouds in a moment), Jules gave us adventurous rides between the photo shooting scenes! It was a memorable experience 🙂

He sent us the link to access the photos about 2 weeks. (I was expecting to receive it about a month!) His photos are amazing and both my husband and I are very satisfied with his professional work!

Jules was the first thing I booked for my daughter’s wedding based on the quality of his photos online. I was a little concerned that he might be more used to high end expensive weddings; this may be true, but he did the job exceptionally well and the photos are amazing. I am having difficulty choosing which ones to frame without the house looking like a shrine to the the wedding.

I particularly liked how quickly he did the standard group photos and got on with taking more candid shots. He even took in his stride the fact that we wanted our dog in the photos.

If you have the chance to have Jules photograph your wedding, do it… Right now. We had our ceremony in Ravello, Italy in July 2022 (setting the stage, so that you fully understand how hot it was).

It was an intimate ceremony so just myself, my groom, and some family members – I did not have bridesmaids or anyone to help with other tasks. Jules was truly a Jack of all trades on this day – not only giving us great customer service by taking AMAZING photos, but also moving around clothes, furniture, accessories, giving us bug spray, and communicating with the hotel staff to ensure that our day (and photos!) went as smoothly as possible. Jules did an absolutely amazing job as a photographer and wedding planner at our elopement wedding at Castello Banfi in Tuscany this summer! Everythig was absolutely amazing and we could not have been more happy that we chose Jules!

Jules know and work with great celebrants, hair/make-up stylists, florists and lots of great italian venues! He also work with his wife who is a wedding planner. They all know each other well and work perfectly as a team! It was great to be able to lean on Jules to organize all the details and get us in touch with the right people. We actually moved around our ceremony, cocktails and dinner location due to his lighting suggestions, and the end result of the photography was simply breathtaking.

Jules is a person you want to hangout with outside of wedding day interaction. My now husband is not exceptionally photogenic and clams up in front of cameras. Jules figured out how to make him look natural and comfortable, and that is in large part due to his personable and chill demeanor. That said, if Jules needs someone to get into or out of a shot, he smoothly makes sure it gets done – he is very capable of grabbing the attention of a large group.

Upon his recommendation, Jules also took us on a short sunset photo shoot away from our guests during the cocktail hour; it was a welcome and fun time to get away from the crowd, loosen up and get back into the moment of why we were there – to get married! These are some of my favorite photos, and we would have never taken them if not for Jules! In addition, I am sitting here typing after just getting back from my honeymoon and am in complete shock that I have already received ALL of my photos (even the edited highlights) in a few weeks time post event.

There is something truly magical about just getting home, with the wedding glow still fresh, and being able to keep it going with thousands of stellar photos that capture the entire event in a way that is even more beautiful than you remembered. Jules handled our photography in Florence for our wedding. The photos came out PERFECT and more than we could imagine!!!! We worked with him prior to the wedding from the USA via email and zoom and everything went off great!!! The only thing I would have done differently was to hire his wife also as a wedding planner. I thought it was going to be easier and it would have saved me a few grey hairs!!!

Our elopement in Italy was magical, thanks to Jules and his incredible team. Throughout our entire experience Jules was quick to share recommendations, connect us with personal contacts, and did everything to make sure our intimate elopement dreams both came true and were captured.

Jules made sure everything was coordinated the day-of and made this a seamless, stress-free, beautiful moment in time that we will remember forever …and I haven’t even gotten to the photos yet! The pictures were not only some of the most beautiful pieces of art I’ve ever seen, but they capture the magic in a way that is priceless.
