- Does the castle have accommodation or will you only be holding your wedding there for the day and then lodging elsewhere?
- Are there rain options or plan B solutions? We are hoping for perfect weather but if you are unlucky then you need to have a good alternative. Yes, you can also consider a marquee or tented structure but if the castle has its own indoor options they might be better and save you money.
- Are there any restrictions for the music or do you need to keep the noise down?
- In the rental agreement does it also stipulate and condition the choice of other providers? For instance, some venues only allow certain catering teams to work on their property.

Jules had an incredible knowledge of the venue and chose the best areas for every photo to ensure we were given the most stunning photos and memories. He worked with our planner regarding timings to ensure we were able to have sunset photos, and ensured we all kept to time throughout the day.
He was professional and organised throughout. Communication was excellent, especially as we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times.
We received the final photos just a few weeks after the wedding which was a lovely surprise, and are really happy with them.

I was a little concerned that he might be more used to high end expensive weddings; this may be true, but he did the job exceptionally well and the photos are amazing. I am having difficulty choosing which ones to frame without the house looking like a shrine to the the wedding.
I particularly liked how quickly he did the standard group photos and got on with taking more candid shots. He even took in his stride the fact that we wanted our dog in the photos.

He was great to work with and was able to help us relax in front of the camera as we were not so comfortable posing! He was also able to work quickly when taking our couple shots so that we didn’t have to spend too long away from our guests.
I love that we got to keep all of our photos and he was able to send them to us just a few weeks after our wedding. Highly recommended.

The turnaround on getting the images back to us was fast, he was super easy to work with and despite meeting him for the first time just the day before, he felt like one of our friends at our wedding. Jules, next time you’re in Scotland give us a shout for a beer!

From the initial inquiry to receiving the edited photos, he was there with us. He guided us in posing and is very specific with what he wants from the photos as he knows the perfect angle and lighting and his attention to detail is unbelievable… which all shows in the final output.
