- Are there rain options or plan B solutions? We are hoping for perfect weather but if you are unlucky then you need to have a good alternative. Yes, you can also consider a marquee or tented structure but if the castle has its own indoor options they might be better and save you money.
- Are there any restrictions for the music or do you need to keep the noise down?
- In the rental agreement does it also stipulate and condition the choice of other providers? For instance, some venues only allow certain catering teams to work on their property.

Jules is not only a world class photographer but he is a born wedding / event planner with an innate sense of what works and doesn’t work in any particular situation. He of all service providers had the best input in terms of order of events, location, timing, duration, etc. He was very easy to work with and was forceful yet witty enough to keep everyone (relatively) relaxed and focused.
The quality of his photos are excellent and were able to capture different moments over the course of the day and a half that we worked with Jules. He took the time to tour the grounds for the event to find the right spots for the different occasions. The sheer volume of photos is impressive and he did not pressure us to limit the number of photos, etc. like some photographers do. The turnaround time on the photos – fully finished – was also very impressive and far ahead of the videographer.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Jules for a major life event.

Whether you like it or not, one’s choice of photographer is up there in importance in many ways with your Best Man on the day because his or her role is both to beautifully capture as many of the awesome moments that pass that you and your partner will of course miss because you are talking, dancing, eating, laughing, crying, etc and doing so whilst effectively corralling your crowd through the stages of the events, in a way that reassures and relieves you of the task.
Jules was always kind, funny, smiling, serious when needed, organised, in control without ever being overbearing, and we are now left with images just as special as those days to remember them by.
