If you are looking for an impressive venue not far from Florence then this Villa Corsini Mezzomonte wedding may well inspire you!
Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte is near Impruneta just outside of Florence. It nestles in the hills and is a very private location. The villa has great spaces for your wedding with a large reception lawn and delightful Italian garden that sits below the venue. The gardens overlook vineyards and olive groves and command great views.

Inside the villa there are a various rooms, most notably the “Galleria”. This long room has many frescoes and its large windows offer more great views. It is a great room for a long Imperial style dinner table and reception.
Their Preparations at a Country House.
The bride and groom and bridal party get ready at a country house that they have rented for the week. I first take some photos of the groom and best men and then spend sometime with the girls as they finish their preparations.

Once everyone is ready we all have to transfer to Villa Corsini Mezzomonte.
I arrive before the wedding party and so I take a few moments to photograph some of the ceremony setup and decor.
Lovely Villa Corsini Mezzomonte wedding ceremony set to an impressive backdrop.
The ceremony will take place at the center of the Italian gardens. Two impressive statues create a natural focal point and the vineyards of Chianti and olives and cypress trees make a lovely background.

The guests arrive and take their seats, the ceremony begins with a lovely processional. The bride arrives last and her uncle escorts her down the aisle. A twenty-five minute ceremony follows and is full of emotions. I can see the bride and groom are full of joy and some guests are moved my the sincerity of their feelings and touching words that are spoken.
Villa Corsini Mezzomonte wedding celebrations
After the wedding cocktails and canapes are served in the Italian gardens to kick off the celebrations. The guests enjoy the refreshments and the impressive surroundings inspire a lot of photos and selfies!
We take some family photos and then leave the guests for a short sunset photo session. The surrounding areas are wild but that is OK as the villa is so noble and elegant it is a nice contrast. We take a short stroll in the vineyard and I shoot some photos that have Villa Corsini Mezzomonte in the background.

Dinner Reception in the Galleria
As the sun sets the reception starts. The food is divine and amusing speeches and games keep everyone laughing. This hall is one of the strong points of Villa Corsini Mezzomonte as a wedding venue as it is an exceptional location for events in case of rain.
With dinner at an end we all head outside to the smaller four quadrants Italian garden. The garden sits just below the Galleria hall. Here the cake is cut and prosecco is popped!

All that is left to do is party. We move inside and there is live music and an American Bar serves plenty of Cocktails! If youare considering a garden wedding ceremony and like the convenience of close proximity to Florence than a Villa Corsini Mezzomonte wedding might be perfect for you.
