A wedding at La Foce

Villa La Foce is not far from Chianciano Terme and lies in the Val d’Orcia which is some of the most amazing countryside in Tuscany, rolling hills and cypresses, white roads and fields of corn and olives and of course the vineyards that produce the famous wines. With Montepulciano, Pienza, Montechiello and Montalcino all nearby it offers plenty for sightseeing. The villa La Foce is lovely and so is the Chiarentana and other properties that are for rent around the La Foce estate.

This was my first wedding at La Foce and between the heat, strong wind and the intense sunlight it was a bit challenging but that’s what makes the job interesting. After the ceremony we wandered around the gardens and different terraces to get a few photos before heading off to the reception location which was La Bandita, another villa situated on a hill top nearby.
