Jules Bower is the quintessential wedding photographer! He put us at immediate ease with his hawkish attention to detail and depth of knowledge and experience. He is a perfectionist (like me) so nothing less will do.
As a professional in the creative industries, I worried that I might have to direct or make suggestions. Not so with Jules! He has laser focus and a superb eye, finding the best light, the perfect locations and the right moments.
We were able to completely relax and enjoy each other while he and his top-notch team took care of every last detail. The result? A collection of photos that literally made us gasp. Friends and family can’t stop gushing. I consider our wedding day photos important enough to last a lifetime, so I’m so ecstatic we put them in his talented hands.

We’d like to start off with thanking Jules again for the experience and beautiful photos we get to appreciate every day.
The actual elopement shoot experience was unexpectedly as equally cherished as the photos we have. I had expressed to Jules beforehand how uncomfortable and awkward I had felt with the idea of doing a shoot in a dress especially in the outdoors, in public and honestly it was daunting me. However, Jules was so amazing at making us both feel really comfortable, focus on each other and just take in the moment and enjoy the whole process.
On a practical note, Jules was consistently communicative, alert, and punctual throughout the entire process. He would often check in with us and offered a range of planning resources and ideas. His eye for detail is astounding, he was an absolute joy to work with. On the day, he effortlessly navigated us through different locations and areas and knew when to blend into the background and when to assert himself to get the best pictures. We cannot express how beautiful the photos came out, it was exactly what we had imagined and wanted and we are so grateful that Jules was able to execute that.
If you value memories and timeless beautiful photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further.
Plus, he offers something that not all photographers can – true flexibility. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID and Jules did not miss a beat, even thoughtfully sending us emails assuring us the shoot would continue despite the unfortunate delay!

Jules did an absolutely amazing job as a photographer and wedding planner at our elopement wedding at Castello Banfi in Tuscany this summer! Everythig was absolutely amazing and we could not have been more happy that we chose Jules!
Jules know and work with great celebrants, hair/make-up stylists, florists and lots of great italian venues! He also work with his wife who is a wedding planner. They all know each other well and work perfectly as a team! It was great to be able to lean on Jules to organize all the details and get us in touch with the right people. He also answerd fast on email and always remembered the things we had asked about and agreed on before.
Jules made us feel absolutely comfortable during the whole day and photoshoot with his charm and good sense of humour. He told us exactly where to stand/look and how we could look our best on the photos. He also speak english perfectly, which makes it very easy to communicate! We we’re absolutely blown away by Jules knowledge of our venue Castello Banfi. He knew exactly where to stand at exactly what time to get the absolute best photos whit the light and Tuscan sunset.
Now we are blessed with over a thousand absolutely amazing photos and of course the memories of our amazing wedding day! Already the day after, Jules sent us a selection of beautiful edited photos so we could post on social media. A little over a week later, whilst still on our honeymoon, we received the rest of the photos. First about 150 edited photos, and then all the photos. We are so thankful for Jules’s fast service on delivering the photos to us. The quality of the photos could not have been better.

Jules is like a friend and not a vendor. We happened to be at another wedding where Jules was hard at work and we were so impressed with him. When it came to our wedding, he was just a joy to have around, he is so fun, professional, and talented and we felt like we had known him for years! He was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We aren’t used to being photographed but Jules was amazing, and made us so comfortable. He helped us every step of the way, and was so easy to work with before hand, day of, and afterwards.
He caught us is the most amazing light, and so many candid photos that captured our day and really told a story. His work is top-notch and high class.
Day of the wedding, he was prompt and got to work, he let us know what he needed… wasn’t at all in the way and was a very fun and charming piece of our day. He captured so many important moments and memories that we had forgotten during the blur of the day.
We spent most of our time with him laughing when we took pictures off site. He made us feel so relaxed, confident and important that we still talk about how fun he was to work with.
The quality of the pictures blew us away. We had a reception weeks later at home and asked for a quick turnaround. He delivered the photos early, and the were WONDERFUL.
We were able to use them as a backdrop for our reception to help guests feel like they were there with us.
The compliments we get on the pictures keep coming… without hesitation, if you have an opportunity to work with him, go for it. He’s so easy to work with and the end result is something to treasure.
