This Villa Mangiacane wedding shoot was born from a collaboration between myself and American event planner Lauren Daversa of Lauren Daversa Events. Our hope was to produce a collection of photos that showcase how the sultry flair of Palm Beach perfectly pairs with the classic beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
We select Villa Mangiacane as the location for the shoot. The fifteenth-century villa was built by the Machiavelli family, the private estate effortlessly captures the essence of Tuscany.
A Villa Mangiacane wedding is ideal for a small to mid-size wedding party. For larger weddings, look at this equally beautiful location.
Luxury Villa in Tuscany
Lying only a thirty-minute drive from Florence city center, the villa position is conveniently east to access for international clients. Furthermore, it is also in an area with easy access to many of the popular local attractions.
So, if you tire of lying by the pool and sipping cocktails, you can venture out and explore the magnificent surroundings. Villa Mangiacane could also be the ideal place to honeymoon and explore after your wedding.
Mangiacane has a driveway of cypress trees that leads you to the impressive villa. The property is finished to an exceptionally high level, both inside and out. This is not a large villa and so, is best for smaller groups. There is a more substantial back lawn area that can accommodate more people for an outdoor reception. However, often this is used for small wedding ceremonies, and then the dinner takes place on the loggia.

I start the photos with a few images of the villa. As you can see, the level of finishing, especially in the common areas and loggia, is exquisite. The groom is getting ready on the ground floor and looks very sharp in black tie with pink accents.
Meanwhile, the bride prepares for her wedding at Villa Mangiacane by finishing her hair and makeup. She is wearing a figure-hugging dress and has a small compact bouquet with tones of pink to match her handsome fiance.
Exchanging their vows
We showcase the front of the villa as an ideal place for a formal ceremony, as this would leave the loggia or the back lawn for a sizeable reception if desired. The rear garden is also a lovely location for the wedding ceremony.
The couple exchanges their vows and rings, and then we shower then with petals. Next, everyone enjoys a refreshing cocktail with prosecco and fruit juice. There are also some delicious canapes.
We take a few images at sunset just outside the villa. We also have a small dining table set up to show the beauty of this tranquil setting for your wedding at Villa Mangiacane.
