This is actually a 3 day Castiglion del Bosco wedding celebration. Here is featuring the main wedding day celebration.
Castiglion del Bosco is now managed by the Rosewood chain of hotels. It is a very exclusive resort in the hills near Montalcino. The couple selects the venue for its privacy and intimacy as they celebrate their wedding with just family and close friends.

Day 3 – Castiglion del Bosco wedding
The wedding day is finally here. After two days of fun and celebration, it is time to take care of business, this is what we all came for! The bride and groom will get ready in one of the villas in the countryside. I find the villa down a white road near the member’s cantina and winery. The groom is getting ready with his brother upstairs while the bride is with her mum and sister downstairs.

The guys are exchanging the usual sort of backchat that you can imagine between brothers and are in good spirits. They help each other out with tricky things like suspenders, bowties, and cuff-links. The bride and groom agree that they would like to have a first-look so that they can see each other and share some intimate moments together before the church wedding.
So, once I finish taking photos with the groom I head downstairs to photograph the bride. Her mother and sister help her get into her wedding dress and put on her accessories.

Once the bride is ready her emotional dad arrives to see his princess. There are a few tears but they are sweet tears of joy. Before we can celebrate this Castiglion del Bosco wedding the bride and groom wish to have a first look. They want to share the moment when they see each for the first time in private.

The groom is patiently waiting outside the villa. The bride is literally jumping out of her skin with excitement to see him. Without further delay, they have their first look and share some private time together. This is important to them as they have things to say to each other that they will not be able to say during the wedding ceremony.
Castiglion del Bosco wedding in the Chapel
After, we head to the ceremony where a lovely country decor of olive greenery, roses and candles marks the entrance to the church. The wedding ceremony in the chapel is a lovely atmosphere as the chapel is a nice size, not too large. On completing the ceremony, they exit the church to petals and cheers.

The olive arch outside the church becomes the backdrop for some family photos and then they enjoy an aperitif on the restaurant terrace which has lovely views of the valley.
While the guests enjoy some drinks and canapes we head to the golf course for some sunset couple shots. Back to the reception, I photograph the lavish table full of crystal candelabras, candles, and roses.

Cakes and Dessert!
The bride has Italian roots and some traditional Italian desserts like tiramisu are served together with the wedding cake. The day ends with the first dance, father and daughter dance, and party. A very memorable three day Castiglion del Bosco wedding in Tuscany!
