After the traditional Borgo Pignano wedding the day before we were all excited for this Indian wedding in Tuscany that was going to be a fun celebration of Indian tradition, heritage and culture with all the guests embracing the day’s activities.
After an intense thunderstorm passed nearby we started a delayed ceremony with the groom making an entrance on horseback accompanied by dancing, drumming and singing.
There was some pre-ceremony wrestling, some attempts to steal shoes from the girls during the ceremony and some strong bargaining to get the grooms shoes back at the end of the ceremony!
This was an intense, emotion packed Indian wedding in Tuscany that I am sure will stay in everyone’s memories for a long time.
