La Pievanella is a fattoria which means that it is a working farm. There are two main buildings around a huge courtyard. This courtyard is definitely the heart of La Pievanella as it offers areas for people to sit and relax. On one side there is a games room and a barbecue area.
The groom gets ready with his best men, they wear black tie which is a great choice. The venue is already rustic so it is nice to see them looking sharp in contrast to the surroundings. The bride dresses in her room and we make the photos quick as it is very warm and we don’t want to make the guests wait too long.
After the wedding ceremony in the olive grove, there are drinks and refreshments and family photos. Before dinner, we go for some photos around the venue at sunset. A long relaxed dinner follows under the stars with many speeches and toasts. Much later we go down to the pool for their first dance and party.
