The Preparations and getting ready

The bride and groom get ready shortly before the wedding. The groom is back from the pool where he spends the afternoon playing with his children. Now it is time for him to get ready for his wedding. His father and best men help him get ready. He needs some assistance with his very special cufflinks.

The wedding ceremony takes place in the garden in front of the villa. There is a little cloud cover that makes the temperatures very pleasant and softens the light. The ceremony is lovely and approximately 25 mins later they are married!

Next, everyone moves to the area for the cocktails and canapes. There a plenty of delicious local foods to try and lounge furniture gives people the chance to sit and relax. After a short while, we take all the family photos as the children are fidgety (of course), and they need to go and have early dinners that are being specially prepared for them.

We complete the group photos list, then I take the bride and groom for their photo session before we return to all experience the wine tasting session prior to the reception. The wine tasting is a great hit! It is not often you can try such great wines such as Sassicaia, Tignanello, Brunello di Montalcino, Amarone, and Barolo. There are expert sommeliers assisting guests and answering their questions about each individual wine.

While the wine tasting continues I take some photos of the wedding reception decor. A lovely curved table fits perfectly into the environment as it follows the natural shape of the pond and its hedging. The decor is rich but simple and understated at the same time. The chandeliers that hang over the tables offer soft lighting and give a touch of class and elegance.

Everyone is impressed by the table and dinner commences with some wonderful pasta dishes. There are 3 short speeches and after the main course everyone transitions to the pool area. The day ends with some performances by a fire-breathing trio, cake cutting, sparklers and them more drinks at the open bar and a DJ and party.
