Castiglion del Bosco wedding

Castiglion del Bosco wedding in the rain. It was supposed to be sunny and perfectly comfortable temperatures and indeed the day started out that way. I arrived at the venue and the sun was shining but around lunchtime the weather started to change very rapidly as a huge storm was developing to the north. We never felt the full force of the storm but it still rained almost all afternoon. The wedding ceremony was supposed to take place outside but instead the ceremony was in the members cantina. Obviously a cantina is used for conserving and maturing wine so they don’t build them with much lighting and certainly they are not designed as wedding venues. The only way to get any photos was to add my own lighting and so that’s what I did.

After the ceremony we took some more photos outdoors but it was still raining and even though the sun came out for about 10 mins just before sunset it was still raining and you can see the rain in the photos. The day concluded with dancing in the osteria and and some very emotional dances. Here are some photos from this Castiglion del Bosco wedding.
