Capri wedding photography by moonlight

Capri wedding photography in the rain is not a great prospect as the only way to get around is on foot and almost all the spots for photography are outside. Anyway this wedding was a wet one but I thought I would share a couple of images from it that are a little different. One of the most evocative and famous sites on Capri are the “Faraglioni” these are three rocky outcrops that lie on the south east side of the island and must be the most photographed vista of Capri. The first image was taken as the sun briefly came out before sunset and it had just finished raining, as the bride said “one advantage to it raining on your wedding day is you get a rainbow!”. The second image was taken much later when it was dark and the moonlight was filtering through the rain clouds, this image also benefits from the unsettled weather as for me it wouldn’t be the same without the clouds as a visual effect and reminder of the crazy weather that day!
