25th Wedding Anniversary in Tuscany!
Often I photograph young couples getting married here in Italy and so I was excited to photograph a slightly different event. A fantastic couple came from California to celebrate their 25 years of marriage! On this special day they got married again with their closest friends and family in attendance. The ceremony took place in a lovely church that dates back to the VIII century. After we went to a villa near Lucca and they had their reception/party.
The reception took place inside an old limonaia that was beautifully decorated and gave a lovely feeling of rustic elegance to the evening. Here’s a small selection of images from this wedding anniversary in Tuscany!

For those that could not attend…
The church was perfect. With a quartet instrumental playing. Pat’s dress was exquisite!!! And she matched the table, cream w/gold accents.
Upon arriving, after you were handed your choice of cocktail, you proceeded through the grand villa to the spacious grounds where wine and hors d’oeuvres were served, with a fantastic band playing Sinatra in the background. Then as the sunset, we walked through a huge arbor of trees to the Limonea structure, where the 5 course dinner was held, circa 1600ish. Checked out our names on the seating chart pictured. And everyone was blown away when we saw that fantastic table setting. Breathtaking!!! Fun, fun, fun dancing after in the same building. The best ever Napoleon Cake and other numerous desserts including gelatos and every coffee and after dinner drink known to man, were served outside on yet another different courtyard.
The photos capture the splendor of the setting. And will forever serve as our reminder of The Fairytale!
It truly was like a movie. And we all were in it!!!

We were very pleased with the photos that were sht by Jules.
As for the event and organizing it, we used Sonja and Viviana at Tusciania Events. Both live in Florence and were able to source our venue, vendors etc. It was a magical event!
