Il Borro wedding – Hot… and not just because it was 42°C.

Il Borro has to be one of my favorite places for a wedding as it surprises me every time. Due to all the different locations that it offers there are many possibilities and ways to organize things and plan your event. You can get married in the church, or the gardens or terraces or go elsewhere; you can eat on the top terrace, in the Italian garden, in front of the villa, or use one location for the aperitivi, one for the dinner and one for the dessert. Il Borro also has extensive grounds that are nice and quiet so finding interesting locations for photos is easy, having enough time to visit all of them is another matter!

This wedding took place on the hottest day of the year so far and the temperatures soared to 42°C or almost 108°F, so it was almost appropriate that when things finally cooled down a bit in the evening the fire dancers came out to turn up the heat a bit, their show was excellent and I enjoyed the technical challenge of photographing them in the dark.
