Cortona wedding photography

Cortona wedding photography is always different. This time the wedding took place at the Santuario della Madonna del Bagno high up in the hills behind Cortona. This is a romantic little chapel that is only used on special request. It was a hot and humid day that spoiled itself and became very grey and gloomy, however, I wasn’t going to let that spoil our fun!

It did rain but we squeezed these photos in before the storm and by the time we made in back to the reception at the villa it had already passed and the sun came out for a few moments at sunset.

The wedding was perfectly organised by the girls from Italian Wedding Planners.

As I live not far from Cortona it is a pleasure to work in the area as I don’t have to travel and I know the locations very well. I am really looking forward to the next time I have to photograph a wedding in Cortona.
