Wedding at the Chiesa di San Giacomo in Santa Margherita Ligure and Villa Durazzo

Santa Margherita Ligure on the Italian Riviera in Liguria is perhaps less well known that its famous neighbour Portofino, however it merits a good visit as it has many attractions. I was asked to photograph a wedding in the chiesa di San Giacomo that sits beside Villa Durazzo. The church is a wonderful example of baroque architecture and styling.

Villa Durazzo Palace is a beautiful villa surrounded by gardens and of course very conveniently located at just 100 metres from the church. The villa is actually used for all the civil weddings as it has a large wedding hall on the first floor. Here are a few photos from the wedding, I particularly enjoyed photographing inside the villa so I have decided to share a few more of those images.
