Il Borro wedding – Hot… and not just because it was 42°C.
Il Borro has to be one of my favorite places for a wedding as it surprises me every time. Due to all the different locations that it offers there are many possibilities and ways to organize things and plan your event. You can get married in the church, or the gardens or terraces or go elsewhere; you can eat on the top terrace, in the Italian garden, in front of the villa, or use one location for the aperitivi, one for the dinner and one for the dessert. Il Borro also has extensive grounds that are nice and quiet so finding interesting locations for photos is easy, having enough time to visit all of them is another matter!
This wedding took place on the hottest day of the year so far and the temperatures soared to 42°C or almost 108°F, so it was almost appropriate that when things finally cooled down a bit in the evening the fire dancers came out to turn up the heat a bit, their show was excellent and I enjoyed the technical challenge of photographing them in the dark.
Then to conclude the day and start the party there was a great fireworks display. Here are a few photos from this wedding at Il Borro.

In een woord geweldig, de lokatie, de kleding, het weer, jullie liefste en dierbare om jullie heen
ik dacht dat ik naar een Italiaanse film aan het kijken was, met twee prachtige hoofdrolspelers.
Je blijft maar kijken en zeggen ooohh en aaahh.
Wauw wat stralen jullie en zien jullie er gelukkig uit, geniet ervan.
Heel Nederland heeft het even gehad over Yolanthe en Wesley, tja ik kan alleen maar zeggen
“wie denken ze eigenlijk wel dat ze zijn” ze kunnen niet tippen aan jullie.
Dankjewel dat ik even in jullie privéleven mocht kijken en mijn hartelijke gelukwensen gaat
natuurlijk uit naar de hoofdrolspelers.
Oh ja en die foto met die ontzettende lange tafel zo mooi.

….wat een fantastische foto’s, wat een stralend bruidspaar, wat een práchtige jurk en wat een romantiek! Nog van harte gefeliciteerd en jullie kunnen, als ik het zo ‘s bekijk, terugkijken op een mooie tijd! Zelfs het bouquet kleurt bij de Italiaanse streek

Last week we received the printed album and the DVD’s with all pictures of our wedding. The
album is magnificent. You shared a proof of the pictures, but now they are printed they look
even better!
You surprised us with so many pictures on the DVD’s. You can imagine it took us some time to
have a look at these, but it wasn’t boring at all. Especially those pictures that we were not
aware you took were very nice.
We enjoyed working with you from the beginning. You responded quickly on our requests and were
flexible in meeting us in Italy for our first acquaintance. A very professional attitude. During the private shoots we had fun together; during the cocktail, dinner and party you were more or less invisible, as promised.
The people with whom we shared our photos are all very complimentary on the pictures. Quality shows! You have captured our wedding day in a great way.
