Of all the places I go photographing weddings in Tuscany has to be one my preferred destinations, yes I am biased because it is always nice to work close to home if you can, but I really do enjoy working in central Italy especially in Tuscany and Umbria. Here are a handful of images, if you want to see more you can here.

Jules captured our wedding day better than any other photographer could. He is a master of beautiful photography and we will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives. He was a pleasure to work with, made us feel completely at ease, and let many beautiful moments exist during those few hours which we will remember forever. A quiet location in the countryside a few minutes from Cortona; the wedding in the garden was emotional and intimate, afterwards we jumped in my car and went for a quick drive around to grab a few photos. Wedding photography in Cortona and its’ surrounding areas is always fun.

Jules, our wedding day seemed like a fairy tale and now we have pictures resembling one. You captured all of the emotions of the day perfectly. We are truly thankful that you were there.

Villa Mangiacane is just perfect for small groups. The blessing was held on the lawn behind the villa. It was a close family wedding so we spent some time getting some family photos done and then we took a few photos around the villa and grounds. Here are some of the photos of the couple.

Italian Wedding Photographer Jules

After a church wedding in Florence that was celebrated at the Russian Orthodox church we moved to the Badia di Coltibuono for lunch, we then continued on to Castiglion del Bosco near Montalcino. Unfortunately it rained on and off all day but we managed to get everything done just fine. The resort at Castiglion del Bosco is really a stunning place and I look forward to another chance to photograph there.

Villa La Foce is not far from Chianciano Terme and lies in the Val d’Orcia which is some of the most amazing countryside in Tuscany, rolling hills and cypresses, white roads and fields of corn and olives and of course the vineyards that produce the famous wines. With Montepulciano, Pienza, Montechiello and Montalcino all nearby it offers plenty for sightseeing. The villa La Foce is lovely and so is the Chiarentana and other properties that are for rent around the La Foce estate.

This was my first wedding at La Foce and between the heat, strong wind and the intense sunlight it was a bit challenging but that’s what makes the job interesting. After the ceremony we wandered around the gardens and different terraces to get a few photos before heading off to the reception location which was La Bandita, another villa situated on a hill top nearby.

Terre di Nano lies between Montepulciano and Montechiello. Surrounded by wonderful views of the rolling Tuscan hills it is a secluded country resort that offers plenty for a special wedding. Here are a few photos from the photos session after the ceremony.

A few photos from a wedding at Villa di Geggiano. The villa’s history starts in the 14th century, it was restored around the 18th century and has beautiful gardens and an open air theater. The surrounding countryside is a mix of woodland and vineyards that produce the famous Chianti Classico wine.
