People get married in Italy for the weather, scenery, food and drink and all the other great things about weddings in Italy, I believe that most people also want to have photos that show they got married in a different location, Italian countryside is beautiful and often I use it to my advantage. On my way to a wedding in Umbria I saw this field of corn and wild poppies and so later on I brought the couple to this area to get some photos, here is one:

In the summer sunflowers are commonplace in Tuscany and are another fun place for a photo.

I also work on the Amalfi Coast and have to say that my favourite location on the coast that I have visited so far has to be Ravello, I enjoy all the locations but especially the Hotel Caruso and Villa Cimbrone weddings.

I work at Il Borro regularly and it is a great venue, it offers so many locations for photos.

Sometimes you need to work to get the shot, in this case it was a bit of a hike up the hill but you’re only going to wear that dress once so don’t be afraid to get it dirty.

I am a huge fan of classic cars and scooters and think that they make great props for photos, especially in Tuscany and Umbria as there’s something so quintessential about classic automobiles in the Italian countryside.

Everyone loves fireworks as it brings out the kid in you, it is also a great way to conclude the days festivities!

I like this photo as it shows that the wedding dress is important photographically, this is just a simple photo of a bride walking down some steps but the dress makes the shot, the volume the texture it all adds to the photo, plain, simple wedding dresses are just that, they can also be beautiful but they have a harder task as they have to make an impact whilst being understated and that is difficult.

Some places just aren’t for shy people, bear in mind that in some places there are always lots of people and you will be the center of attention, if that’s not your cup of tea then be prepared, if of course it doesn’t bother you then you can do what you want including dancing in Piazza San Marco!

The beautiful arena of Verona, Juliet’s house and balcony, the church of San Stefano and the Basilica San Zeno, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza Dante and the Loggia del Consiglio, Castelvecchio and Castello San Pietro are among a few of the things you must see when visiting Verona.
