Castello di Modanella and the Collegiata di San Michele, Lucignano

This wedding took place at Castello di Modanella and at Lucignano a nearby town. The wedding ceremony itself was held at the Collegiata di San Michele which is the main church at the centre of the town. The drive is a short one from the castle to the town, outside the church there was a blistering heat but inside it was significantly cooler as the church is very large and has few windows.

The ceremony went perfectly and afterwards we went for a walk around a few of the narrow streets to get some photos done.
Back at the castle there were drinks and then the dinner in the lovely courtyard.
