As a wedding photographer Malcesine on Lake Garda is a fun place for a wedding, after all you’ve got a castle, a lake, beaches, little quaint medieval streets and a whole lot more!

A wedding in Malcesine takes place in Castello Scaligeri, which has 14th-Century fortifications and an older medieval tower. Malcesine is situated on the east cost of Lake Garda which is one of Italy’s great lakes. The mountains surround the lake and create a stunning backdrop. The town of Malcesine is easily reached from Verona airport which is about 40km to the south.

Here are some photos from Anna and Jon’s wedding which took place there at the end of May. They booked a boat ride around the lake and we all had a great deal of fun. I have photographed many weddings at Malcesine so feel free to ask me any questions you want and I’ll try to help.
